Marriage and Relationships

Post-pandemic, even the most solid relationships are being strained to unprecedented limits.

For over 25 years I have helped couples develop what I have termed marital resiliency; the capacity to quickly recover from difficulties. Through the combined use of a Couples Assessment and a Clinical Couples Interview I am expediently able to identify core themes and recurrent patterns that interfere with a couples’ ability to live harmoniously.  Sometimes it is an obvious crisis that undermines stability, such as infidelity, other times it is more long-standing issues that erode trust and marital satisfaction.  When this happens we feel a sense of disconnection that over time can leave us with feelings of detachment and frustration that can sabotage our commitment to the marriage.

My greatest satisfaction is working with couples in helping them to rediscover feelings of warmth and love for each other, manage differing opinions without conflict, improve communication, heal resentments, recover from affairs, and restore and increase feelings of intimacy and passion for each other.
